At Sparsholt Village Shop, we pride ourselves on being a non-profit establishment dedicated to serving our local community. Our mission is to provide essential goods and a welcoming space for everyone. However, to continue our efforts and sustain our operations, we rely heavily on the support of our community.

Your contributions, whether through shopping with us or volunteering your time, make a significant difference. Each purchase helps us maintain the shop and offers vital support to local suppliers. Additionally, we warmly welcome any donations or offers of help that can assist in keeping our doors open and serving you better.

Become a Volunteer

If you have a few hours to spare each week we would be delighted to welcome you as a volunteer. There are many tasks where help is always appreciated. If helping behind the counter is not for you we can always find you a different job such as making cakes, savouries, soups and jams or helping with collection and delivery of goods and services like dry cleaning. Become a Shareholder
If you are resident in the Parish of Sparsholt you are eligible to become a member of the Village Shop Association. As an Industrial and Provident Society, our primary goal is to serve the local community, with all profits reinvested into the shop. A one-off payment of £25 secures a share, with no entitlement to interest, dividends, or bonuses. If you’re interested, simply pop into the shop or email Janette at sparsholtvs@googlemail.com.
